As a little girl growing up in the 70s, I always hated my middle name... Lou. It sounded like something from the south, and folks would always make sure to have fun with it... Wendy Lou Who, Little Lou-Lou, and just plain Lou. I couldn't wait until I was old enough to get married and get rid of it. And that's what I did, at age 22, I dropped the Lou and replaced it with my maiden name.
But here we are, 40 years later, and I couldn't be more proud to display the name Lou; the name my daddy gave me at birth. And it just so happens that I grew to love the south after my first time in Tennessee back in the 90s. I love the warm weather, the scenery, and especially those deep southern accents.
"Lou" is an online store that sells discount designer clothing, shoes, and accessories, and it’s something that I've dreamed of doing for a very long time. The logo you see displayed on the site was designed by my son, whose idea was to use something simple as the store name. At first I thought "Nahhhh, that's too plain". But once the logo was finished and I saw it for the first time, I fell in love with a name that I had always hated.
Our online store is family-based. We each have a different talent and skill set that we bring to the table. We love to find good deals on fashion clothes and trendy items, and then pass those bargains on to you. We are adding new items every week, so please check back often.
We currently have our shop set up in Northern Virginia, with our inventory stored in the home garage. We will be moving and expanding our “warehouse” space and headquarters in the fall of 2017, taking our bargains to the great state of Georgia. We hope you fill follow along with us as we take this journey south and step into the dot com industry. We are on Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and Facebook, and we also have a store on eBay.
