As a little girl growing up in the 70s, I always hated my middle name... Lou. It sounded like something from the south, and folks would always make sure to have fun with it... Wendy Lou Who, Little Lou-Lou, and just plain Lou. I couldn't wait until I was old enough to get married and get rid of it. And that's what I did, at age 22, I dropped the Lou and replaced it with my maiden name.
But here we are, 40 years later, and I couldn't be more proud to display the name Lou; the name my daddy gave me at birth. And it just so happens that I grew to love the south after my first time in Tennessee back in the 90s. I love the warm weather, the scenery, and especially those deep southern accents.
"Lou" is an online store that sells discount designer clothing, shoes, and accessories, and it’s something that I've dreamed of doing for a very long time. The logo you see displayed on the site was designed by my son, whose idea was to use something simple as the store name. At first I thought "Nahhhh, that's too plain". But once the logo was finished and I saw it for the first time, I fell in love with a name that I had always hated.
